Wisdom Organics will be closing on October 30, 2010.We have to have everything clean and out ready to hand keys over on October 31, 2010!
After months of pressure and forfeiture threats from the City Attorney and District Attorney our landlord caved. We would love to relocate, can you help? 619-272-0240

We want to thank everyone that has made Wisdom Organics home.
It is all of you that is Wisdom Organics. You have truly made WO a cannabis society, a compassionate use center. We love the support that our community has showed us. From attending our BBQ for a Code Compliance Inspection, to attending meetings with me, and writing letters on our behalf. This last year has truly been an awesome experience. I wish it was not over, but wishes and reality are two different things. I will truly miss all of you, more than any you can possibly understand.

went in recently,got a 1/4 of wax,beautiful,amazing stuff...it might actually last me through the entire month!!!its been great,since i have been having lung problems(bad cold followed by bad bronchitis),and its nice being able to only have to smoke a few hits a day and remain at the level i function best at....and the price on their concentrates are amazing,especially with me being both poor and in need of a lot of strong medicine

The title says it all.
I spend as much time here as I do at home.
This is not going to be a review of any specific bud,but the shop and staff as well.
Others have described the place, I won't bother except to agree that you feel very comfortable there, like your at a friends house visiting.
I walk there since my last seizure and it's over a mile, but it's worth it.
What ever herb I donate for is always worth the walk, and the people that are there are never dull.
The policy of allowing you to hang in the little chill room to the left is fantastic.
I've met some great folks there, from well known activists like James Stacey and Eugene Davidovich to an old Thai gentleman who barley speaks English, but is a blast to try and talk to.( and for me at the age of 65 to call him old is going some where )
When I had the above mentioned seizure I guess I called adele,actually don't remember doing so, but she and Aaron came over,brought me a sandwich,made sure I was o.k. and hung with me until I got back to bed.
Don't even think my Dr. would have done that.
Ami is knowledgeable and nice, what more can I say.
They are having a lot of problems with the City and zoning right now and I worry about what is going to happen to my Favorite place.

Wisdom Organics is unlike any other dispensary out there - the compassion shown here really touches me! Aaron and Adela are very down to earth, genuinely nice folks. You don't meet many people like them anymore nowadays. Verification is quick and painless. Upon entering you see that they have a full hash bar set up in the middle; a chilling area to the left; and their budroom to the right. It may be a little small but the atmosphere is so welcoming size doesn't even matter.

Now onto the most important part - the bud. They have a nice selection of flowers to choose from all which are extremely potent! I didn't not see a flower in this shop that was not a worthy contender for purchase. However their Headband is where it's at! I originally got an 1/8th of their Sour D, which is also dank, but after trying some of their Headband I had to get some! Aaron generously let me trade a G of my Sour D for a G of their Headband.

The Headband had more of a stoney effect for me than an energetic one. Leads me to believe it's an Indica dominant hybrid. Either way - it's FIRE! Nice dense nugs covered in trichs from the inside out. Smoke carries with it a nice lung expansion upon inhale and a smooth exhale. If you're heading to Wisdom do yourself a favor and check out this strain!

The Sour D was a nice pick as well with nice popcorn like nugs and frosty trichs covering it's leafs. Not as potent as the Headband but Aaron hooked it up for just $45 an 1/8th so I'm not complaining!

The whole vibe of this place just brings smiles to my face. Such a drama free environment. This is what every dispensary should be like. Thanks for providing the MMJ community with an awesome spot to hang out and pick up on our much needed meds.

I finally had the opportunity to head down to Wisdom Organics in San Diego (from the IE) for a little get-together between myself and a few other DSDers. The plan was a vape-a-thon, as in let's bring together as many vapes and different vapes as possible and go from there. So, I made the drive. I found it easily with no problem without driving by like other people, the parking was ample in the back. Upon entering this little house of wonder I noticed that it is directly across from USD. When I got in, Adela was there! I noticed her from all the videos and the obvious conversations she has on DSD. Super sweet and exactly what I was expecting. After a quick checkin I made it to the mack. Alright, this is where the awesomeness begins. They have a full hash bar set up here people! This is no joke stuff... premium concentrates. To the left was a chillroom (where we eventually seshed) and to the right is the budroom. There were about 10 strains on hand, pretty much all good quality medication. Edibles galor and just about any source of information gracing the MMJ community can be found here at Wisdom. This is almost like a research/outreach center for MMJ patients. As I believe OldSchool said in his earlier review, Wisdom Organics is an establishment you would see in a perfect World in which MMJ is completely legal across the board with just free living. I can go on for a while on my 5 hours at Wisdom, but in the justice of doing a review REAL ( ;-) )for my fellow DSDers, I press on!

The medication is SUPER potent, tight crystals entrap the bud. I picked up both Black Mamba (GET THIS STRAIN AT WISDOM, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED) and their Headband. Let me tell you, this is very high quality medication. Huge nugs and perfect consistency from the outside to the inside. The trim job is IMMACULATE on both strains. Not the best strains in the World, but the were pretty straight fire all around. It's really hard for me to give a collective 5 stars on Bud Quality because I am extremely picky, but I cannot say anything bad about the medication here at Wisdom. Top Notch! The atmosphere at Wisdom...yea um Let me see: my good WM/DSD friends, top grade herbage with a gang of vaporizers (and yes, we snuck a few bongs in there to, alright- and some hash hits too!) great conversation... Wisdom Organics is a patients dream. I hope they decide to move into that bigger space where they can really set up shop as a MMJ destination.

Adela, Aaron, and crew... one of the best in the industry, hands down. Not just because of their name and what they are known for, but who they are as individuals and caretakers for their patients. The parking was ample, the menu was clear and accurate, and I found the place immediately. Based on this, all smooth-sailing.

$60-65 1/8th is not my cup of tea, as a lot of you know. But, for this time, the quality, potency, flavor, and overall consistency made paying $60-65 1/8 fair. I actually got 1/4 total (1/8 of BM 1/8 of headband) so I got both for $110 with a fat weight hookup, so no complaints really.

Alright, if you want the complete package... head to Wisdom Organics. You can be sure that the medication will be what you are looking for and you will receive service with a smile. WO is a safe haven for us all and I appreciate having a place like this even out there for us. Overall, my day at Wisdom will not be one that I soon forget and I cannot wait for my next exploration down to SD so I can stop by and see my new extended family at Wisdom Organics! Thanks for the great service that you all do for the community.

Making my way down Linda Vista Rd, I realize I've gone too far at 5450. Looking for a doll house, my destination became apparent upon first glance. A gingerbread house with a variety of medicated pastries x).

I unfold my recommendation from my wallet with haste as another patient and I engage in a clandestine race to fill out our paperwork first. She hands back my ID and letter, already pre-folded three times to fit conveniently back into my wallet. It's the little things that count.

Inside the cozy house is a similarly cozy community. Three patients are medicating at a counter, but where are the buds? Three steps to the right and an entire dispensary emerges. I had planned on getting some edibles and checking out the concentrates, as I was going to work later. The Grape Gpe kief had the familiar sweet purp aroma and looked like apple green clay, but I ultimately decided to go for edibles and hash.

I venture over to the bar after paying my dues for two hits and a brownie for just ten bucks. I ask what kind after taking my first taste of it and he told me Grape Soda. It definitely tasted sweet, almost like a mango taste? I wouldn't mind trying to figure it out again on another occasion, especially for that price.

During the smokeout I ate the small brownie and gave one to Mr. Nice. We both enjoyed it, and my only gripe was that I didn't know it had nuts in it and generally prefer plain. It had me wanting another, which I will definitely get around to, but I felt the effects on an empty stomach linger for a good two hours.

A fat bowl snap later and I have to dip to work, leaving medicated, and educated.

Walked through the door and was greeted by a friendly & efficient dark-haired young woman (did not catch her name, so sorry). She rapidly dispensed w/the paperwork and showed me the place. Aaron was also delightful & helpful. Reception Girl provided a timely and fabulous recommedation that I included in my bag. Spending a moment with Wilson a.k.a. Willie was the best medicine ever, nothing better than a kitten! Thank you and keep up the good work, wherever your final destination Shall be in the San Diego area. I will find you!

I always get my meds from WO. There is a very laid back vibe, and I always feel welcome. Adela, Aaron, Ami, and Thor are very friendly and have a lot of knowledge about the products. All of the edibles I've had have been amazing - the peanut butter cups and any of Adela's treats are delicious (and effective)! There usually isn't a huge variety of flowers, like some of the other shops, but what they do have are of very high quality. Thank you, WO, and keep up the good work!!

Imagine all the places I passed driving from Alpine to check this place out. I was extremely disappointed to only see 4 strains. I picked up some of the Canna Care Balm which works well. I just feel weird not getting anything so I picked up a G of Green Crack. It looked nice. I picked a cookie as my 1st time patient gift and it was burned. Yes I picked it from the basket, but the fact a burnt cookie was even wrapped for sale or gift is ....A BURNT COOKIE?

Wisdom Organics is a island of tranquility in a setting of a progressive “society “ with old world charm. In a sea of the self center, self righteousness and blindly ignorant.

Cant say anything bad about this place at all! Staff is awesome, super friendly and helpful with everything! I picked up some of their purple kush, and can't say anything bad about it. Extremly tasty bud that was very potent. They also had a good selection of concentrates that all looked pretty bomb. You should definetly stop by this place sometime and grab some of their fire meds!

Let me preface this review by stating that it's my first, it's late and it's biased.
It's biased mainly because I have a lot of respect for adele and all she does for the MMJ community.
It is also very close to my house and I have a tendency to just hang out there as there are always folks around to discuss and plan what the future of MMJ may be here in San Diego.
Sooooo, on to my review.
My first visit went smoothly as I has already met adele at County meetings and there were only a few pages of paperwork.
After completing went in the back and was introduced to Aaron and the hash bar.
I have had experience with BHO before in Amsterdam but it was always a hassle finding ways to smoke it.
The hash globe solved that.
Don't recall what it was we did but it was very nice.
After many hits of the BHO I wandered into the budroom and inspected their meds.
They did not have a large variety, but what they did have was all top shelf.( see,I'm learning the terminology ).
I got an eighth of JackFlash which I believe is a cross of Jack and Skunk.
Nice buds,lots of crystal,look like it had been dragged through a sugar bowl.
Very strong, uplifting high which had me wired for a few hours after.
Also got an eight of Headband, now see where it got it's name.
After smoking some in my Volcano I stood up to fast and got a little dizzy....nice.
Have made many visits since so here are some of the meds I have gotten.
Lavender..Very soft, fluffy buds, very mild flavor, not harsh at all, nice head high .
Snowcap..smells sort of sweet when broken up. Some reddish orange hairs.
One of the few that gave me the munchies.
Purple Urkle.....was given a gm.by adele to checkout .
Great pain relief for my migraine last night.
GDP BHO bought a gm and a hash globe for bong.
WOW....have been smoking sparingly, but today is a drizzly day here in S.D. and I'm thinking about renting a few movies and checking it out a little more.

I just got back from Wisdom today for a sesh of some good flowers and concentrates. The flower that stuck out the most was the Purple Kush. If you know me, I am not the biggest fan of purp since no one has a potent version but Wisdom always seem to have good purple strains. This Purple is covered in thrichs like Sizzle said and you got to see them do the Diary Queen test on this stuff, very sticky. Oh and the thrichs are so big you don't need a magnifying glass.

The hit from this is amazing with a smooth intake, good expansion and a head rush that is strong. I felt it rush through my temples and into a good mellow feeling. I might even pick up some of this for my personal stash. Peace.

Purple Kush looked absolutely ridiculous. Those nugs were riddled in Trichs, and it had a grapey flavor to it, couldn't quite place my fanger on it. The smoke gave me an instant blast of high straight above the clouds. After, hacking up my liver, I started to feel more and more relaxed. As if I slowing falling into a vicodine high, however, unlike vicodine I was still functional...a bit forgetful though.

Pure Kush was interesting, fresh nugs, but wow the high was perfect for what I needed. I have problems sleeping and this Pure Kush, definitely has a drowsy kind of sluggish high that was just aces. I medicated, laid down, and before I knew it, I was waking up for the next day. This herb definitely was not a super potent knock out uber flower that flambes you, but merely a drowsy high, great for insomnia.

So I came to Wisdoms to meet the infamous Adela and this lady is definitely for the cause. She is like an encyclopedia with all of the info that she retains. I have a lot of respect for passion and this lady is very passionate. The atmosphere is that of a club house. I was welcomed with a big hug; Adela definitely has a lot of love for her fellow patients. It was an awesome time visiting Wisdoms with Twitch. Today was Twitch’s first day as a patient, and I have to say it was nice seeing Wisdoms take good care of their members. Another thing that I liked about Wisdoms was the marijuana library. The hash bar was good times and Adela broke out the goods which I really appreciate. At wisdoms they have a lot of edibles for a great price, which I definitely will be back in to check out in the near future. The concentrates that were packed out of the globe definitely elevated me. I had the pleasure of trying the wax and headband hash they had in. All in all I am impressed with this shop and could see myself becoming more of a frequent patient. As far as medication goes they were a little low, but hey that happens. I can’t wait to see what they have on a day when they are fully stocked. My visit was well worth it and I definitely learned a lot about what is happening in our community. Some of the things that Adela told me really made me want to take a more active stand in our community. Well if you’re looking for edibles, quality meds, and a chill conversation hit up Adela at Wisdoms. Besides being a faucet of information Adela is also a master chef. She is mastering the art of edible making one creation at a time. Adela Thanks for the hospitality and again it was great meeting you. I will definitely be by to smoke and talk mmj in the near future. I would of loved to check out your edibles but I was broke. I will definitely be coming around for the ice cream.Not to mention how much this woman does for the community. I have also sampled some nice strains from here.

I been here once, and I can say that they are awesome. Only thing is I wished I lived closer to them! Bud is top notch! I got the lavender there. Great smell, covered in crystals, fluffy nuggs. I was expecting to pay a lot more. I was happily surprised with the price. There hash bar is awesome. I was a little disapointed when I asked if they had hash and they were all out! But then Thor remembered they had a little bit of blueberry hash? Im not really sure, it might of been Blackberry. But let me tell you that is was the best hash I smoked. But I only smoked a handful of hash. The reason I wanted to check this place out was I had a coupoun thing and Adela! It's around a 50-60 min. drive round trip. But I think it's worth it. Thanks Arron an Thor for those hash bowls! I was stuck for a lil bit. Good Stuff! When my car starts working again I'll be sure to visit again! Thanks again!

This is San Diego's premiere MMJ activist's dispensary. Adela is a superior human being with a plethora of knowledge only matched by her friendliness & compassion.

I've used her lounge a few times to sit, chill, chat about MMJ legal issues and smoke sexy oil hits from a globe.

If you're like me and spent more than a few hours in the 70's or 80's (or 60's) dreaming about what it would be like if pot was sold in stores, then this may be what you imagined. If it weren't for the smoking devices from the future, you'd think you had been transported back in time and if you listen closely you might even hear Ravi Shankar playing sitar in the background.

Great medicine, great hash bar, great lounge and even greater people . . .

Well, my last visit here was exciting. A couple of friends and I came here to have a session and tore it up. WO had some of the best purple that I have ever smoked on, and you all know that its hard finding a good purp.

Black Mamba - A very triched out urb that hits real smooth. The smoothness allows you to intake much more smoke thus giving you a hard hitting snap. I smoked a lot of purp and this is probably the only purp I would donate for.

Pure OG - This is a real good OG that I got to test out. It is smooth and not spicy to the throat. Hits you in the head too. I only had a tester bowl but it is worth checking out.

I also got to say that I buy my edibles here since they are so compassionate. I can buy 5 for $25 and get medicated more than donating two for $10 anywhere else. Three is when I start to feel it. And that goes for any edible in so cal so this deal is nice on my wallet. I think you can also donate for trays so I might try that out one time.

These people know what is up with urbs down to the seed and they are friendly too.

The bud quality on for most parts is pretty above average to average with some occasional fire in the mix. The price is a bit on the higher side than I think it personally should, although you do come across a deal regularly. Hash and oils are a regular with great quality and affordable prices. If you go on a lucky day, you'll find some pre-rolled joints. For the edible part, they have what I consider a good idea to become a norm. $5 edibles all day, everyday and most of them are made by the very people that run the place. Everyone knows the brownies, candies and rice krispies; so it's pretty much a relief when I see medical gelato and medical ice cream on the menu.

The 2 for $5 hash oil hit from the concentrate bong is what i call GOLD. Guaranteed to medicate anyone that is on any level. The whole lounge area is pretty much dedicated to everyone who comes in, to medicate, talk and just plain cannabis the entire time. The cherry on top is the pipes, bongs and vaporizer on hand for the convenience of the patients. Hash hits is pretty much the majority of my purchases.

Wanna hang out a little so you can get to know cannabis a little more, anyone here is more than happy to share knowledge on the plant, activism and medicinal uses.

Well relaxed area, great parking in the back for a quick, but best to be used as a regular.

I go to Wisdom Organics quite a bit...

this place is very laid back and the staff is so nice! As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a nice young man. The verification is quick and fast... behind the painted door is a hash bar, lounge and of course... budroom. Ami is usually my budtender. She is very helpful with getting my meds.

They have a decent selection. I wish they carried more top shelf at a decent price. $70 / 8th? that's crazy. I don't even think I'd pay $65.

What brings me back is the great customer service and the feeling I get when I go in there. I don't feel rushed out or anything. :]

I recommend this place to anyone looking for a new place to try out. I'm sure you'll be happy you did.

Oh! and don't forget to try out their medicated gelato... it's pretty bomb.
